Father in law to the Sultan of Oman younger Son, HH SAYYID Bilarab bin Haitham (the second in line to the throne). HH is also Director of the State Counselors Affairs Department at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. Also, he is a Senior Adviser at the Diwan of the Royal Court in Oman. Lots of announcements on the way with Oman India long term business relationship 😇🙌🏻🧿🔥🙏🏻

His Highness Sheikh Rashid Dalmook Al Maktoum inaugurated the premiere event attended by over 450 delegates from UAE, Middle-East, India and Africa region.
Dr Jaspreet Singh Bindra, Managing Director, Bharat Telematics was the Chief Convenor of the event.
In his inaugural address, His Highness stressed upon Dubai’s unique position to bring together the key players in the industry to promote the growth of the business, trade and economic development
His Highness highlighted the recent economic agreement signed between UAE and India worth more than USD 100 billion. His Highness emphasised this agreement will be a great catalyst to the business between the two great economic powers and would boost the business environment of the whole Middle-East region. Dubai is the bridge between India and the West to foster greater economic growth.
Blessed by His Highness Sheikh Rashid Dalmook Al Maktoum, the event created a buzz in the industry circles with its high energy and engagement from the participants.

India signs free trade agreement with UAE.

India has signed a trade pact with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that will reduce import duties on the majority of Indian exports to the country. The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) is the first major trade deal signed by the Narendra Modi government since first coming to power in 2014.
The deal was signed in New Delhi by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and UAE's Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri. While it cuts import duties on a wide range of products, the government expects it to especially boost the export of gems and jewellery, and apparels to the UAE and raise total trade up to $100 billion in the next 5-years.
UAE is India's third-largest trade partner globally, after the United States and China. Bilateral trade between both nations stood at $43.3 billion as of 2020-21 and is spread across thousands of traded items. In 2019-20, the pre-pandemic year, trade between the two countries was estimated at $59 billion. The UAE is also home to 35 lakh Indian-origin persons.
The CEPA is expected to come into effect by the first week of May since the process will take about 60-days, Goyal said. During that time, a series of business interactions will be held across India, between businesses from both sides.

Looking forward for further discussion and cooperation on government level very soon to make these initiatives happen.
India growth story to evolve stronger in next 25 years
It was a pleasure being a part of the discussion “Decoding the Union Budget- The NRI Perspective”, hosted by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (Dubai) Chapter. I have always believed in and voted for the India Growth Story. Technological innovations, entrepreneurial mindset and a passion to participate in the growth story will fuel it. The budget is a visionary one which will have a long term positive impact on Indian economy.

Its mentioning in the joint statement is an appreciation of the project and another example of use of Russian Technology for very effective road transportation system which will not only help savings in fuel cost, faster commutation but at the same time a big jump in the Toll Revenue of the Govt Of India.
